As a fan of true crime, mysteries and the unexplained, these past few months I’ve discovered a couple of YouTube channels. To say I’ve been bingeing them lately would have to be an understatement!
Fascinating and engaging, I hope you find them as engrossing as I do. 😉
A former navy seal, John is passionate about scary stories, true crime, and mysteries. He enjoys sharing content of dark and compelling stories, telling each episode in story format. A good storyteller with interesting content, the minutes fly by and before you know it, you’re hooked!
This channel is dedicated to true crime and horror stories, but mainly crime. Mike is also good at telling a good yarn. The stories are compelling, gruesome, and tragic. The victims and their families are spoken of with compassion, and Mike manages to insert a dash of humour, without being disrespectful, which adds a light touch (I just love his life insurance dance). His channel has become so popular, he now has a podcast of the same name.
A true crime channel, hosted by Simon Whistler (who has numerous other channels). Various writers prepare a script for him to read unseen. What’s interesting, as well as the stories themselves, is that Simon’s reactions are in real time, which makes for some entertaining discussion.
What have you been watching and/or listening to lately? If you have any other Youtube channel suggestions, I’d love to hear them!
The Casual Criminalist sounds like a unique approach to a crime show. I like Regina’s Haunted Library. She writes Gothic horror mainly, but other stuff, too.
Ooh, a haunted library sounds good! Thanks for the recommendation, Vera. 🙂
These sound good. I’m always looking for new content to enjoy. Thanks, Debbie.
My pleasure, Staci! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. 🙂
