Release Day – The Ghost at Willow Creek.

Today is release day for my first short story, The Ghost at Willow Creek! It is also my first foray into the world of indie publishing!

A child’s death. A grieving mother. A marriage in turmoil.

Australia, 1886.

Eleanor Mitchell can’t move on after her young son’s death and begins to question her sanity due to noises in the middle of the night of a child at play that only she can hear.

Has Eleanor lost her grip on reality or does she really hear the ghost of her dead son?

‘A beautiful story. Loved it!’ – Annie Seaton

The Ghost at Willow Creek is available as an eBook on Amazon for $1.99AUD, as well as various other countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom.

If you purchase a copy The Ghost at Willow Creek, please visit me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and let me know so I can thank you personally. Please don’t forget to leave a review.

I hope you enjoy it!

Thank you so much, Kate! I just have to remember that now that it’s published, it’s up to readers to decide. 😉

      1. Debbie I’m going to do a post a week with a review of books I’m reading, but in particular Indie books as they need a bit more help with exposure – haven’t nutted it out yet, but I will let you know if yours is in there – if I honestly love what I’m reading I’ll add it in and if I don’t I’ll just leave it out – as I don’t like to give less than stellar reviews. I have read the first two pages of yours and that’s the telling part sometimes – it sounds good so far 👌 well done anyway on getting an entire book finished and n the market – it’s so hard I’m slogging away at my fiction work – published a poetry book that I love last week but that was easy as I already have so much poetry written – fiction though is really enjoyable but a lot of thinking and writing and rewriting. Well done you for getting through it and out the other side 💛

Thank you, Kate. I agree with you about fiction. I’m currently starting with short stories and novellas and working my way up to novel-length stories. Like everything, I guess, it’s a gradual process. 😉

  2. I got my copy! I’m looking forward to reading it. Fab cover art, by the way!
